MEDICAL HEALTH EVALUATIONS are performed by our Therapists, Nurses, and Physicians onsite and at our clinic. Prior to any testing, clients are asked to present a government-issued photo ID and fill out a consent form and a health history questionnaire.

Based on the information given, it is determined if testing is contraindicated. If it is safe to proceed, the testing process begins. At any point, the client or tester may stop the testing if they feel they cannot continue. If this occurs, a medical clearance from our Physician may be required.

Once the testing is complete or stopped, all results will be forwarded to the company for review.

Here is a list of medicals and health assessments that we perform:

  • Physical Demands Analysis
  • Pre Employment Medicals
  • Functional Capacity Evaluations
  • Return to Work Medicals
  • Ergonomic Assessments
  • Insurance Medicals
  • Physician Commercial Driver Medicals

BLOOD AND URINE ANALYSIS is performed by our Certified Laboratory Technicians and Nurses onsite, and all specimens are collected using sterile techniques in order to prevent cross-contamination and infection.

Samples are then securely packaged and sent to an accredited laboratory for testing. All results are sent to our Physician specializing in Occupational Medicine for review and then released to the client.

If a medical follow-up is needed, our Physician may request a visit from the client in order to discuss the results.

Under the Alberta OH&S Code, employees are required to test workers who may be exposed to lead and other substances in the workplace.
